Website Hosting Terms

Effective 2 February 2026. These terms apply to the AU$32 per month website hosting plan supplied by Ultra IT Australia (ABN 41 508 245 098), Unit 2, 5 Kessling Avenue, Kunda Park QLD 4556. Contact admin@ultrait.com.au or 0415 598 598. They should be read with the plan summary and our Privacy Policy. If a written quote for separately scoped work conflicts with these hosting terms, the quote governs that separate work only.

1. Price, billing and renewal

The plan is AU$32 per month including GST. You pay AU$32 for the first month when you sign up. We then charge the card you authorise through Stripe every month until the subscription is cancelled. There is no separate setup fee or minimum term beyond the first paid month. Stripe securely handles card details; we do not receive or store your full card number. A payment confirmation and invoice are sent to your billing email. Separately quoted work is not included in this checkout and will not be charged without your agreement.

2. What this plan includes

The plan is for one eligible small-business WordPress or static website on Australian hosting infrastructure in Sydney. It includes up to 10 GB of total account storage, unmetered data transfer subject to reasonable use, an SSL certificate, a LiteSpeed hosting foundation, cPanel email addresses within the account allowance, scheduled backups and reasonable restore assistance. One standard migration of an eligible existing website is included. We review the site and discuss a safe migration plan before changing DNS or the existing site. The domain remains yours and must be registered and renewed separately.

A standard migration means moving a reasonably sized, working site and its ordinary website database/files where compatible access and a current backup are available. It does not include a redesign or rebuild, malware cleanup, substantial code repair, complex integrations, third-party licensing, a mailbox migration, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace setup, or a multi-site move. We will identify any extra work and provide a separate quote before proceeding. Existing cPanel mailboxes can be used within this plan; Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace subscriptions are separate.

3. Suitability and setup

We aim to review your submitted site details within two Queensland business days. Encrypted access handoff: when you choose to provide a domain-account or current-hosting login in the dedicated signup fields, we encrypt it before private storage and send only an encrypted copy to our restricted service-coordination work card. Revealing it requires an authorised administrator and a separate password. A temporary, least-privilege access invitation is preferable when available; you can choose that instead or request guidance. Never put MFA, recovery or banking codes, unrelated passwords or card details in these fields or ordinary email. Change shared passwords or revoke temporary access after handover. Unpaid signup attempts normally have their encrypted login details removed after seven days; paid access details are retained only while operationally needed and then removed from the signup record and work card as appropriate. We will confirm technical fit, dependencies, timing, backup and DNS steps with you before migration. Keep your domain and old hosting active until the new site and any mail routing are checked. We do not promise a migration date before we have the information and access needed. If the site is not suitable for this plan and you do not accept a separately quoted alternative, we will cancel the new subscription and refund the hosting amount paid for service not provided, subject to your rights under law.

4. Resources and fair use

The plan includes up to 10 GB total account storage. Normal website visits are not billed per gigabyte, but unmetered transfer is not an invitation to use the account as a file-distribution, streaming or backup service. The account is limited to one CPU core and 2 GB memory, and cPanel email sending is limited to 250 messages per hour. These safeguards help protect reliability for all customers. If your site needs more resources, we will contact you to discuss optimisation, a suitable plan or a separately agreed upgrade rather than silently charging more. We may temporarily restrict activity that creates an immediate security or service risk, with an explanation as soon as practical.

5. Backups, restore and security

Automated account backups are scheduled hourly, daily, weekly and monthly. The intended rolling retention is hourly copies for up to 24 hours, daily copies for up to 7 days, weekly copies for up to 4 weeks and monthly copies for up to 3 months. Retention depends on the backup system’s successful operation and is not an absolute guarantee that every point-in-time copy will be available. We can help you restore an available backup at no extra hosting-service charge for ordinary accidental edits or failures; substantial repair or investigation beyond restoration may be separately quoted. Keep an independent copy of critical website and email data. You remain responsible for website content, updates and credentials unless a separate management service is agreed. We will use reasonable care and security measures but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service.

6. Support and customer responsibilities

Contact us directly by email or phone for hosting support. Our ordinary support hours are 9 am–5 pm Queensland time, Monday to Friday, excluding Queensland public holidays. We will make a reasonable effort to respond to urgent after-hours outages but do not promise a fixed response or restoration time. Included hosting support covers account availability, ordinary cPanel/SSL/backup questions and reasonable help identifying a hosting issue. Website development, content edits, third-party software support and complex troubleshooting can be quoted separately before work starts.

You must have rights to the domain, content and software you ask us to host; keep contact and payment details current; and use the service lawfully. Do not send spam, distribute malware, operate phishing or unlawful services, infringe others’ rights or attempt unauthorised access. We may take proportionate urgent action to contain a genuine security or abuse issue, and will explain it when safe and practical.

7. Cancellation, payment problems and changes

You may cancel at any time by emailing admin@ultrait.com.au from your billing email. A cancellation request received before the next charge is processed stops future renewal; there is no cancellation fee. Hosting normally remains available through the already paid period. We do not ordinarily prorate a current paid month merely because you choose to leave early, but this does not limit any refund or other remedy required by Australian Consumer Law. If a renewal payment fails, we will notify you and give at least seven days to update payment before suspension, unless an urgent security or abuse issue requires earlier action. A cancellation or suspension does not erase an amount already due for service supplied.

On cancellation we will offer a practical route to export your website and cPanel data. Where technically feasible, we retain account data for up to 30 days after service ends to support transfer, then remove it under our retention process. Do not rely on this period as your only backup. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a change to the AU$32 recurring price or a material plan term, and you may cancel before the changed price takes effect. We will not add an unapproved charge.

8. Your legal rights and contact

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law where it applies, including due care and skill. Nothing in these terms removes those rights or remedies. We will discuss a problem in good faith and provide an appropriate remedy where required. The law of Queensland, Australia applies, subject to any mandatory law that gives you a different right. For questions, cancellations or complaints, contact Ultra IT Australia at admin@ultrait.com.au, 0415 598 598, or Unit 2, 5 Kessling Avenue, Kunda Park QLD 4556.
